I am John Waterman AKA DJ Lollipop.

I have been doing discos for schools, weddings and parties for more than 20 years in the Tunbridge Well area.

My name came about when a group of year 6’s were shouting out "DJ Lollipop" in fun, being cheeky, as I was their school lollipop man. They got told off by their teacher for being rude. I loved it so I kept it.

I was training at college to be a Nanny and one of the assignments was to find out about children’s entertainment in the area. I was working with a friend and we noticed that there were not many children’s DJ’s. 

As they say the rest is history!

I have always loved music and over the years my tastes have grown and I now have a large music collection. 

I love it when Children try to out wit me on requests - so far none have succeeded!

Over time I have branched out into all types of private  discos, but I still love doing Children’s discos.  

Two of my friends help me with the discos. 

Their names are Simon Seagraves and Lindsay Beech.
